"International Day of Plant Health" celebrations were held in Antalya which one of the most leading provinces of agricultural production both in open fields and in greenhouses in Türkiye in 2025. More than 500 participants, including producers, researchers, students, academics, technical staff, children and industry representatives, attended the Plant Health Day events.
Video messages from FAO, IPPC and EPPO and other countries (Indonesia, Belarus, Ukraine, Cook Islands) were shared with attendees, student activities were designed with winning prizes and a panel event on preventing pesticide residues and the importance of plant health within One Health was organised, with professors and plant health advisors on the Panel.
