Popillia japonica awareness raising campaign 2026:

Switzerland - 2026


The aim of the campaig is to inform the general public about Popillia japonica. Specifically, the campaing aims at enabling pivate citizens to recognize the beetle as well as motivating them to check their luggage when travelling and report any findings to the competent authorities.

Additionally to the leaflets, billboards have been placed along roads with a large amount of traffic leading to and from containment areas.
