The NPPO of Czechia (ÚKZÚZ) organised an activity day for school children to celebrate the International Day of Plant Health. The event took place at the National Museum of Agriculture in Ostrava on 13 May 2025. The aim was to raise awareness about the importance of plant health by the way of games and other activities. Children could try to use microscopes, distinguish seeds, herbs and kinds of wood. Inspectors showed them various traps and explained how to use them. Other partners like the Czech Phytosanitary Society, Mendel University and three growers’ associations also participated in the event.
