This video is meant to inform the producers of potatoes in Belgium about the Solidarity Fund for Potato Producers: This Solidarity Fund supports potato producers in the event of a phytosanitary crisis. When measures are taken to maintain or improve the phytosanitary status, Belgian producers whose potatoes have to be destroyed, treated or processed due to (suspected) contamination by certain quarantine pests can receive compensation from this solidarity mechanism.
